Role Overview
Corporate Commercial Surveyor are pleased to announce that an exciting opportunity has arisen at this leading independent firm of consultant surveyors for an experienced and successful Building analyst or commercial surveyor willing to travel across England & Wales to client premises.
This is a fast-paced role that will require high levels of accuracy, organisation, and outstanding communication skills, coupled ideally with a technical background in commercial surveying or relatable discipline.
An understanding of the current non-domestic business rates system would be an advantage, however, is not a necessity.
Key Responsibilities
- Involves travel across England & Wales to client premises
- Completion of site surveys, including measurements, photographs and any anecdotal evidence towards non-domestic rates appeal.
- Presentation of survey plans to Head Office on a weekly basis
- Ability to present information to clients and the office in a clear concise manner
- The role will take a logistical thinker, who is able to forward plan, with good geographical knowledge.
- The ability to work autonomously is required as you will be based on the road, completing at least three surveys per day, five days per week, dependent on the size of the premises.
Skills & Attributes
A commercial surveying background would be an advantage to this role; however, we are open to considering candidates with transferable skills and experience in a relevant sector, who can demonstrate a clear, practical understanding of building surveying.
We offer a competitive salary and 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) and conduct all non-domestic business rates training sessions onsite in one of our central commercial offices.
