Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive, persuasive Credit Control Specialist to manage client accounts, secure timely payments, and maintain positive relationships. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to “sell the service” while resolving payment issues professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact clients to arrange payment of outstanding invoices.
  • Negotiate payment plans where necessary.
  • Explain the value of our services to reinforce trust and encourage prompt payment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions.
  • Escalate overdue accounts in line with company policy.
  • Collaborate with finance and customer service teams to resolve disputes.

Skills & Attributes

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven.
  • Previous experience in credit control or collections (B2B preferred).
